    Elisabeth Taurus Sarcian (1 January 1945), a Lebanese actress of Armenian origin. Known as Liz Serksian and then Iman.

    Eman is a Lebanese actress and was known as Elisabeth Tawroos Sarkisyan, or Liz Sarkisyan. She graduated from the American University in Beirut after majoring in Chemistry. Initially she worked in theater and was discovered by Shekeeb Khoory. After studying theatrical drama at the AUB, she participated in many classics for Shakespeare on the Belbak Theater. Her first involvement in the cinema in Lebanon was in the movie “The Mute” or “AL Akhras” . She then acted in an Egyptian movie opposite legendary Fatin Hamama “The Big Love”. "Al Soa'ud Ila Al Haweya" “Climb into the Abyss” was the movie that made Eman famous. The movie starred Madeeha Kamel, Mahmoud Yassin, Gameel Rateb and it was directed by Kamal El Shiekh, who chose her specifically for the role of Md. Marseille, a French lady. She also starred in numerous movies after that such as “Omahaat fi al manfa” (Mothers in Exile), “Lameen shaaf wala meen dery” (Nobody Knows a Thing), “Al setaat” (Women) and “Al Katela” (The Killer), among many others.
