Dive into LUST, a Kuala Lumpur-based duo known for pushing the boundaries of pop. Formed in 2015 by Azfar and Faris, they bonded through a shared love for bands like The Strokes and Animal Collective, as well as electronic acts such as Jamie xx and Caribou.

Their debut EP, "Chingichanga", released in 2016, made waves in Kuala Lumpur's indie music scene with its five genre-bending tracks. Their follow-up album, "Tekesima", released in 2019, made an even bigger impact, winning Album of the Year at Tapau Awards and played a wide range of shows across Southeast Asia and South Korea, including a slot at Good Vibes Festival.

During the 2020 lockdown, they released another EP, "Vantablack", which marked a departure from the lush, organic sounds of "Tekesima".

This new EP ventured into darker, more industrial, and electronic territory. The release was accompanied by a short film, "SILIKA", produced in collaboration with Krew Filem Sek Kito, a Malaysian art house studio known for memorable local music videos such as No Good's "Che Using".

In 2024, LUST is set to release their second album, "TUGU". This 11-track opus features the band's style at their most refined. The LP toys with the aspect of sonic extremes — such as blending the soft, human touch of acoustic guitars and hand claps with angular, abrasive synthetic textures.
